Hi, I’m Ava! A Tacoma-based violin teacher offering personalized, in-home lessons for students of all ages.

I’ve been a music instructor since 2014 and have had the joy of teaching hundreds of students through private and group lessons. My main instrument is the violin, which I teach across all styles, including classical, folk, pop, improvisation, and more. In addition, I offer beginner piano lessons using both traditional sheet music and modern chord/lead sheet methods, beginner guitar, and ukulele.

I am currently accepting new students in the Tacoma, WA area.

Whether a student is brand new or looking to grow creatively, I tailor lessons to their goals and learning style.

Pricing

Private lessons are $95 per hour. Because I travel to students’ homes, I also include a small travel fee based on distance to help cover commute time and vehicle expenses. Most families fall within the $10–$30 range, depending on location. I’m happy to provide an exact quote during our free consultation call.
