FAQs

Weddings

  • As far as you need me to! If the venue is less than a 1-hour drive from either Tacoma or Yakima, there is no additional fee. If it’s outside that radius, there is an additional fee based on travel time, and we may need to discuss accommodation options. If you live out of state or are planning a destination wedding (yes please!), let’s talk about plane tickets and other travel costs.

  • In the rare event that I have to cancel due to an emergency, I will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund, including the deposit. I will also do my best to help you find a replacement musician from my network.

If you need to reschedule (with more than 7 days’ notice before the original scheduled date), I will do my best to accommodate your new date, but availability is not guaranteed. The deposit will transfer to the new date if I’m available.

If you need to cancel within 7 days of your wedding, the full balance will still be due, and no refunds can be issued. This is because I reserve the date specifically for you and spend significant time preparing your personalized music experience. If you cancel more than 7 days in advance, you will receive a full refund (if you have already paid the full balance), minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. This ensures that I reserve the date exclusively for you and begin preparing your custom setlist. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the wedding. Payments can be made via Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or personal check.

In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 7 days before your wedding, any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, and the full balance will still be due.

  • I will bring everything I need — speakers, mixer, cables, microphones, etc.

If you are hiring a DJ, I may want to coordinate with them and go over relevant details regarding the PA system/power supply/staging.

  • 5! Violin, piano, guitar, ukulele, and mandolin.

  • As a general rule, I don’t take song requests from wedding guests. I carefully plan my setlist based on the couple’s chosen songs and the overall aesthetic of their wedding to create a seamless and personalized experience.

However, if the couple has a special request in advance, I’m always happy to accommodate!
